Saving basket and login in Simpla cms cookies
User autosave on the site and its shopping cart is stored in browser cookies
After installing this solution (module, if you can call it that), the visitor on the site and the goods in the basket will last much longer even when the browser is closed. In the usual version of Simpla CMS, user information is stored in a browser session and after it is closed, the entire basket is automatically emptied, and the client itself remains authorized on the site until the browser is closed. This add-on will change the whole work of the engine in such a way that the data of your potential buyer is recorded in the visitor’s browser cookies.
The module allows you to keep active access to the site for several days, or even weeks, depending on the quantity you specify (in numbers) with knowledge of the code. By default, in finalization, the storage period for cookies is 60 minutes.
Improvement extends the usability in your store, because after the first authorization and purchase the client will no longer need to re-enter his data, and upon his further visits he will already be immediately an authorized user with the basket filled with it (if something was put there).
To install the add-on you need to make changes to the Simpla CMS files. Changes highlighted by “cookieuser” comments. Instruction is not provided due to easy integration and transfer. Import to the database is not required.
Modified files themselves:
In addition, it is installed on SimplaCMS without any modifications, in which a standard design template is installed. For stores with a previously modified engine code or with a different design, the installation process may be different. If you are not sure, then order these solutions on our Joomlok.com website with installation.
The work was tested and created for Simpla CMS v2.3.8, but most likely it will work on the entire line 2.3.x
